Employment legal advice for employees

A Case Assessment gives you employment legal advice based on your evidence and the relevant documents. Your adviser assesses the legal merits of your case and explains the action to take.

The service includes a document review, a one hour appointment and a written report. It is for employees who need advice about a problem at work or preparation for a response or meeting.

    How your evidence is assessed

Your legal expert reviews the documents you submit before the appointment. These may include your contract, letters and emails from your employer, meeting notes and a short timeline.

During the appointment, you can explain what happened and discuss the documents. The assessment considers the legal merits of your case and the action available to you. It does not promise a particular outcome.

    What you receive

You receive advice on the action to take and a written report after your appointment. The report records the assessment and recommended actions so you can refer to them afterwards.

Your written report is ready within 24 hours of your appointment, provided you have uploaded all the documents needed. If any are missing, it takes longer.

    Advice and preparation, not representation

Belonge is a legal technology company, not a law firm. We provide employment advice and prepare clients for workplace meetings, hearings and Employment Tribunal proceedings. We do not represent clients or attend those meetings, hearings or tribunals for them.
